No you do not. Dynamic Defense will provide a gun and ammunition if you do not have one. Prices vary depending on the course you are taking. Please contact us for more information.

The short answer is no. You do not need shooting experience to attend a permit to carry class. However, all students are required by the state of MN to pass a live fire qualification. You will be required to show that you know how to safely handle a gun and that you are able to hit the target. If you are completely new to shooting, we highly recommend taking the Handguns 101 or Handgun Fundamentals class prior to the permit to carry class. If you take an intro class first, you will receive a discount for the permit to carry class.

We teach both men and women. We understand that sometimes men and women learn differently so we do offer some Ladies only classes but the majority of our classes are co-ed. We have had great feedback from both men and women who have taken our classes.

Yes! We offer 1 on 1 classes as well as small group classes. Price varies depending on class and group size. Private classes are a great option if you have a group of friends, family, or coworkers that would like to take a class together.

We are proud to partner with Caribou Gun Club for both our classroom and range activities. Caribou Gun Club is a Full Service Gun Club, Hunting Preserve & Banquet Hall. Services include Sporting Clays, Trap & Skeet, Rifle & Pistol Range, Pro Shop

We are proud to partner with River Ridge Shooting Club for both our classroom and range activities. River Ridge is a full service shooting club featuring a 1,000 yard rifle range, archery range, pistol range, trap shooting, sporting clay course, clubhouse/pro shop, and indoor shooting simulator.

The range is covered on 3 sides and a small heater is provided during outdoor training.
